I just turned 31 and I really love being in my 30s. Professionally, I feel more respected and grounded. Personally, I just have a better grasp on who I am and what I'm all about. There's a special kind of confidence that you gain in your 30s.

I royally pissed off a Jezebel writer yesterday and her reaction was… disappointing. Luckily, I was very supported by fellow commenters so I felt justified in challenging her language.
Thanks :)
Clearly, I wasn't alone in my sentiments. Also, your assessment of my comment seems way off. Did you forget that "who wears the pants" comes from a sexist place (historically women wore dresses and mean wore pants - hetero gender role B.S.)?
I totally hear that this can be a sex-positive term in the BDSM community but that's not what took place in this article...
Oh yeah, totally. Homophobic, sexist, gender-role bullshittery.
I added a similar comment about the bottom business...
"it turns out that he's a bottom."
Yup. Vin is one of the few men I've seen who is a self-proclaimed "feminist" who walks the walk (according to what I saw on the show). I really like him.
Here's the problem, though... She's making us pro-choice folks look like we use abortion as a form of birth control. She's giving us a bad name, so I can totally understand how anti-choice people would cling to her story to back up their stance.
I, too, had to go in on a snow day :(
Look up a couple comments :)
It happens to the best of us, Callie!
It said "Pete Wentz regrets his penis."
Quick correction. Pete Wentz said he regrets PIERCING his penis.
I spy a troll. Ignore the troll.
Fuck the internet today.
I always have that fear that I'm going to see someone I know. And then I think "OMG there are so many hidden camera situations that my ass (and much more) could also be on here!"
