It depends on the tailor. I have a tailor back near my parents who has you wear the dress while he pins the sides, which is the best way to do it. The people near me ask you to pin the sides yourself and bring it in. Booo.

I was thinking the same thing. I have a bob with bangs so I spend about $120 for my cut (which isn't bad in NYC) because it's too easy for someone to fuck it up. My guy never fucks it up so it's worth the money.

I know! I adore him so much. It was MAJOR kudos to GMA when they announced his engagement to the country. I like that they took a stand to support marriage equality just by celebrating Sam in such a sincere way.

Yes, I'll take burger over baby.

Have you ever met someone who actually doesn't like Sam Champion? I think it's impossible to not love that man.

I associate vow renewals with two things:

Their son's name is Moroccan and his nickname is "Roc" so they can called their kids "Roc and Roe."

As long as you've expressed to people that it's totally cool (in a very sincere way) that they shouldn't feel pressured to go because it's a pricey trip, then you're all set. That's pretty awesome that you're getting married in Greece. It's gorgeous there!

This is all so much genius... Thank you so much!

This done sound pretty cool! What are the hours like, though? I need something somewhat consistent and traveling is tough because I have a dog.

Enjoy it!

Isn't it nice when you actually get to be a guest at times? I seriously soak it all in when I'm a guest at a wedding or something. Sometimes it's painful, though, when you notice all the little glitches but I just tell myself "Eh, it's not my problem" and go back to partying.

Yeah, it's one part of my job that I'm really good at but completely exhausts me. I've definitely had people recommend that I become a full-time event planner but that comes with insane hours and no real work/life balance.

Good luck to you too!

lol Thank you for reinforcing why I never plan on having anal sex. It just sounds like too much prep work and a nightmare for my body. Kudos to others who dig it, though.

When I was on OKC I would typically exchange a few "get-to-know-you" messages to get a sense of normalcy from the other person and then meet-up within a few days to a week after chatting. I don't like to waste too much time.

Does anyone here work in the corporate world who can point me in the right direction for a job search? I have a master's degree in higher education administration (student affairs) and I focus on event planning, club advisement, leadership development, new student orientation, and multicultural programming/training.

I'm with you on the job search. I am currently employed in NYC so I have job security and benefits but I want to get back to Philly by July (my lease ends June 30) and I rarely see jobs posted that seem like a good fit. It's very frustrating.

Ah, that's a really good point. Dually noted.
