Who are we to fault how a rape victim responds to her trauma?

No investigation has disproven Broaddrick’s claim. Therefore, it all comes down to, do you believe a sexual assault victim or do you not? Hillary apparently does not. Or, she’s decided that supporting a rapist is just not that big deal.

You don’t think Hillary had political aspirations in 1999, when Broaddrick accused Bill of rape? Hillary was elected to the Senate in 2000. That’s one year later, if you need help with the math.

It’s puzzling how so many people here are trying to exculpate Hillary in this.

Regarding this community’s general presumptuousness, perhaps we should move the conversation to the more recent post about the marriage proposal at the Olympics, where the commenters have decreed, to hell with what the proposee feels about it, we deem this proposal offensive!

Shorter comments section consensus: “Who cares what the victim’s family wants? I’m the one who’s going to decide what’s appropriate here.”

Lots of people, including my spouse, who is not feared to be a terrorist risk, are required to submit to questioning every time based on something in their file that raises a red flag as to inadmissibility. My spouse, too, is admitted every time.

Your assumption that the reason he was questioned must have been potential “terrorist risk” is pretty obviously racist, by the way.

There are literally dozens of reasons someone may be inadmissible other than “terrorist risk.” Who said they were investigating whether he’s a terrorist risk?

What basis do you have to assume that he has been “inappropriately” flagged? Federal law specifies dozens of reasons an applicant for entry may be inadmissible. Why are you confident that there’s nothing in his records that suggests one of those reasons may be applicable? You obviously have no idea how this works.

“Shah Rukh Khan—one of the most famous people in the enormous Bollywood film business, and therefore one of the world’s biggest movie stars—has been detained for questioning yet again at U.S. Customs. Do America’s immigration authorities not have access to Google dot com?”

You’re upset that a white actor is cast in the role of a Japanese character, but, on the bright side, you say, at least some of the Japanese characters are played by Chinese actors. Why exactly is that a good thing? Because you think Japanese and Chinese people are the same? Or close enough?

Literally almost everything in this post is objectively wrong, as anybody who knows even the basics of DACA/DAPA and the surrounding litigation could attest.
