It’s alarming how many people are desparate condemn, not just with careful “this could cause concerns”, but with absolute “this cannot help, this is terrible, an idiot knows that this is always bad” and so forth. That’s not a response that comes from knowledge or understanding, let alone empathy. Psychology absolutely

Part of the problem with that is she knows she mishandled it and doesn’t know how to talk about it. One of her and really most of the candidate’s flaws is that she has a tendency to run from her mistakes. If she had said from the beginning, we need Medicare for All, but that obviously can only be achieved as a long

Who was the other guy laughing, and did he get reprimanded too? If not, is he white?

I’d make the argument that if someone chooses to not vote for a Sanders ticket because of 2016 then they aren’t really a Democrat, just like someone who chose not to vote for Clinton in 2016 isn’t really a Democrat. Only now, we know the price of not voting/voting R/Voting 3rd party, and anyone who tries to justify

How much is it that the men with the opportunity for taking leave don’t see it as manly vs. they know the boss/their co-workers think that? Women are oftentimes damned if they do/damned if they don’t - come back immediately, you’re a horrible mother, take too long, you’re obviously an emotional trainwreck who will

Putting up candidates who start from positions of compromise is how the Dems have steadily lost ground on almost every legislative policy battle in DC since the 80s. I can accept compromise, but it needs to come at the end of the fight rather than at the beginning of the campaign.

Last episode broke me. I’ve been a defender of the show for so long, standing up when people shat on the writing, finding excuses and justifications and a silver lining. But that last episode... It was so contrived; nobody did anything that made sense for their character, it was all just the hand of the writers moving

Your assumption that jobs grow on trees is false.

Forced arbitration blatantly disregards due process and should be illegal.

Fuuuuuuck...

Why didn't she pull a Lawrence of Arabia and attack the ship's from behind? They couldn't turn them and shoot down their own sails.

I have less problem with building all the ballistas in that time than I do with them being stunningly accurate and being carried by ships that apparently can appear from thin air.

I like to imagine this conversation happened :

“I honestly have no idea why anyone was expecting some big grand reveal about the Night King.”

Because his enemy was human memory? Wasn’t that the reason he was so fixated on getting to Bran/Three Eyed Raven? That would seem to imply there’s something in that memory that’s threatening to him.

While I agree with you about the NK and Snoke, I will say that the Palpatine had pretty clear motivations and allegiances. Wanting to rule the galaxy is a pretty straightforward and understandable motive, while wanting to kill every single person is vague and incomprehensible.

Honest question - if you really think of her as a little kid, why do you think you had that reaction to her wanting to have sex but *not* to her murdering loads of people and being in constant danger?

There’s nothing wrong with enjoying things that are outside of your target age market. A lot of young people like The Golden Girls. A lot of older people like children’s cartoons. There is however, absolutely no reason to be having private conversations with minors on the internet. If you do that, you know exactly
