As others have said, AoS has used the word "inhuman" in referring to Skye, but it clearly wasn't used with a capital "I". I think it's too early to tell if AoS won't use the capital-I-Inhuman-word.

I thought the discussion about the four-form period in English was very interesting. "Yea" and "nay" were used to reply to affirmative claims, while "yes" and "no" for negative claims. This explains nicely the usage of "yea" and "nay" in legislative bodies. A bill is generally an affirmative claim ("It shall be

Thanks for the correct link.

Mostly I agree but I totally think Banner was invited specifically because he's the Hulk. Fury's plan all along was to use the Hulk; Banner's science expertise was cover or maybe just a bonus. Of course, I'm sure Fury didn't want him to Hulk out until actually needed, but I also figure he considered the risk of

I heard someone say elsewhere that Cap's main superpower is that he always does the right thing; his intentions are always pure. It's similar to what you're saying in that his real power lies in his personality and heart, not superhuman physicality. I like that perspective a lot.

If I remember, it's not so much that BC is harder than AB, but that BC is Calc II while AB is Calc I. They cover different material.

Well, those are two good flicks so maybe I should read the originals.

Oh, I wasn't arguing with that. I've actually not read those so I can't compare the films and prose source.

Yeah, if I recall The Mist was a bit over 100 pages in a mass-market paperback. That's novella length and enough material for a feature-length film without needing any padding.

Skeleton Crew has a bunch of good stories and "The Jaunt" is certainly one of my favs. Obviously, the original short is just the jumping off point for whatever this feature-length film will be about. I'm sensing wormhole aliens or something like that.

There is definitely research going on along those lines. Check out the braneworld scenario for more information.

As a programmer, I can easily imagine that a billions-years-old program (like our DNA) is 98% cruft.

It's not a hipster thing, it's gotten worse. It's much more memory-intensive than it used to be. I'm still using it for now, but I'm looking at switching.

I die a little inside every time I see one of those things. It feels like you need to have an active disdain for the earth to use those things.

They'd be nuts not to. People will hurl their money at that.

Ok, cool. I thought it would probably be awkward jumping into the Goddess series without some background. Thanks for the info.

By Thor do you mean the new female Thor? I was interested in checking that out but I've got no prior Thor background. Can I start where she's introduced or do I have go back further to understand the sitch?

Some classics which are completed:

+1 for "mundanes."

I only know him from the Thor flicks, but he had great screen presence in those films.
