He was the middle school teacher in Dazed and Confused, so I like to think of him forcing a petulant Jared Leto to stay in class until the bell rings and Ben Affleck and Cole Hauser show up to paddle his ass.

The writers of this show really need to remove the phrase "my people" from their vocabulary.

If you think Sam Rockwell could pass for 35, then you must know some rough-looking 35 year olds.

It seems strange for the author to sort of blithely dismiss Prince as a "shiny pop star".

It's the best Piven has ever been. "See you at the I've peaked and I'm kidding myself party" might be my favorite line from the movie.

Sam Rockwell and Anna Kendrick are both delightful, but I'm about out of patience for film romances with 20 year older dudes. All I can think of is Maggie Gyllenhaal being told that at 37 she was too old to be the love interest of a 55 year old actor. It's gross.

Eh, it's hit or miss on Fear as well. But I think Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, and Ruben Blades are all better than anyone who has ever been on TWD.

Interesting that you watch for the great acting by the cast, but couldn't stand Fear. I thought the acting was consistently stronger on Fear than anything on TWD (excepting Morgan and Carol).

Les Garcons Grosses

If anything he should be apologizing for how crap this season has been so far.

Yeah, I read the title. I'm saying it was a poor editorial choice to create a list like this and exclude hip-hop. Come back next week for the list of best tacos made by white people.

That's a totally fair point. I guess to me it just seems weird not to include hip-hop on a list like this. Sort of like making a list of the best tacos made by white people or something.

Yeah, I read the title chief. That's why I said it's weird for them to exclude Hip-hop. I was commenting on what I think is a bad editorial choice.

It's really good. If you've seen Catastrophe that is the best comp.

It's not that good, but it's comparable to Catastrophe. Definitely worth watching.

Seems bizarre to create a list of diss tracks and then exclude hip-hop, which arguable perfected the art.

That's sort of what I guessed. With more time they would tell more of the story and stay closer to the book, but it would look like shit.

Did anyone see the mini-series version of Dune? I think it was on Syfy around ten years ago?

That was a Daenerys Targaryan costume, not a Marilyn Monroe costume. I'll see myself out.

Not sure how this got a B+, that was a terrible episode.
