Annihilationis a good exmaple why sometimes changes are simply needed. Things that work in a book, simply wouldn’t work as well in a movie. In movies I get it. You have to make from a sometimes 20h+ storyline a 2 hour movie. You simply have to rewrite, cut or combine things to make it work.

I played Indie games for 10-15€ that are 3 hours long.
