You get the satisfaction of being right. No Superconductor, though. Should I?
On the god damn cold pavement, along a chain link fence. With like a hundred other people!
About 300 or so, and a weird smattering of stuff with sentimental value more than anything else. I pared it down quite a bit a few years ago…
Thanks! You're nice.
That is definitely a reasonable reaction to me getting rid of discs but keeping all the tracks digitally.
Thanks!
I saw those!
I am putting myself out here, naked and free of almost anything that could be vaguely described as "metal."
Weirdly I have the entire Goats discography (well, almost, anyway) digitally, but nothing on disc.
No, it's much more a "Will I ever listen to this on CD again?" Or "Do I cherish the artwork in any way?" Though there are definitely some cases of "I don't enjoy the music anymore…"
Definitely not listening to everything. It really depends. Some stuff I know so well that I know I'm keeping it without listening; some stuff I just need a quick reminder. Plenty of stuff I just know that because I haven't listened in so long that I don't need it on disc. And I have to keep telling myself (and y'all)…
gimme yr address
I just hate it, that's all.
It's weird, because I drop off after Yield and I like (but don't love) the two most recent. But I guess that's a discussion for the Ps…
Yeah, there are plenty of bands that I like (some a lot!) that I just don't have on CD.
I'm certainly not dissing them, just lamenting the weird fact that the ones I actually own are the ones I rarely want to hear!
I'm actually surprised I don't at least have a Depeche Mode greatest hits. Iron Maiden, well, as you metal fans have probably noticed, there's almost no metal in here.
I had a box I was neatly placing them in, and that's now overflowing, and there are bags. It's not looking great.
Thanks Jiggle! Very nice of you. I do have You'd Prefer an Astronaut and Electra 2000 digitally, and I know I owned them on CD at one point. But when there are this many, things go missing…
