I must say, @wo, that the home stretch (there are three left) is pretty damn amazing.

We told bands they could choose any song, as long as it was a) somehow holiday related and b) a cover. Then we sent them a big ol' list (of like 50) just to get the gears working. Some took songs from that list, some didn't.
Oh, I should've mentioned: There will be ten episodes of Holiday Undercover, running Mondays and Wednesdays… One Track Mind (which is normally on Thursday) will run tomorrow so as not to interfere with your Thanksgiving. Glad y'all enjoyed this one!
We actually set the music cutoff point at two studio albums or less, eliminating The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Nirvana in the process.
None of REM's last three records even made it to gold. Reveal was the last one that did, and it barely made it.
A really interesting thing about REM and Pearl Jam in the last 10 years: Neither have been selling many records, both can still pack arenas. Last time through Chicago, Pearl Jam did two United Center shows. That's exactly the same thing Kanye and Jay-Z are doing here. So it's not like PJ or REM have disappeared from…
"Great Job, Internet" has and always will reserve the right to use its own name either sincerely or sarcastically.
Oh man, in one of the upcoming episodes (I've seen the first three), somebody calls Lem "Lemonhead." They have to put him together with Gardocki at some point. Also this season: Claudette Wyms and David Aceveda, both playing criminals. Hell yeah.

You sure can. I wonder if you'll get some kind of notification, though.
Two levels?

Don't forget all the stuff on Butterglory — seems like that's a band Mac and Laura were sure would connect with people, but never really did.
Yeah, my mistake (now fixed). It's "Wilco The Song." I don't know if there are parentheses.
Mumford
You know what movie is actually pretty damn good, even though you wouldn't think it would be? The one in the subject line.
Yeah, I think liveblogging works better for something so potentially silly/bad. But who knows, maybe it'll be totally amazing and renew our faith. (Doubtful again.)
They go up at midnight central (or sometimes 10 minutes after), as always. More people are just ready for them now!
You'd best head over to www.theslanket.com. I think the Slanket brand actually predated the Snuggie!
Bingo, Lexicondevil.
I'll probably do a one-off review of Better Off Ted soon; I think it's very funny—I just generally don't end up watching it until a few days after it airs. But if you haven't seen it, it's worth a look.
