@LittleBigWig: Samsung is stepping in though and making huge bucks. They are making essentially the SAME phone and having all carriers have it. In addition, the make screens for HTC and other brands, processors for apple portable products, and make everything from fridges to cameras to cars.

The new music player also supports headphone controls!

I prefer PowerAMP. Great piece of software with a lot of room for customization, and the lock-screen widget is better than any other player out there. [powerampapp.com]

When I get gifts I secretly scan the barcode with Barcode Scanner and look it up on Google Shopper Local to see what the value is.

Coming from an Asian family, we have some weird beliefs that we know are fake. Like "don't shake your leg or you will lose all your luck." And maybe people who think that smoking weed is good for them actually reap health benefits!

Can you use a HDMI to Mini DisplayPort cable to connect your Playstation 3 to an iMac?

I use Mobile DJ to control Songbird on my computer. It has its problems, but it has some great features. Songbird ftw.

The video almost made me cry. Who cares if Google is taking over the world? It will just make my Android phone better!

@djshack: The MacBook multitouch trackpads are awesome. For people who aren't familiar with the "one-button" design it is very forgiving in that you can use it like a traditional trackpad like the buttons are still there. I hope some of the features carry over...

@kschang: Oh haha. Yea, the menus look so good in black. Do you use CM?

@kschang: The menus that show up when you press the menu button? Awesome! Unfortunately CM 6 was taxed by battery way too much and it didn't feel as fluid as other roms; way too many features. While it did have it's advantages, it was overshadowed by its abundance of features that weighed it down. I also really
