I hadn’t considered the lack of clutch until this article. When riding the rough stuff sometimes you have to abort very quickly, clutch in, full brakes, to stop. Apparently that is much harder on a clutchless bike.

I can appreciate the new format for reasons relating to your post. I don’t sit down and watch an entire 500 mile race, but record it and watch the last twenty or thirty minutes later. I realized as turned on this race and there were “segments” that my “just watch the end” approach will not work anymore.

I agree. Recently purchased an Audi that I searched everywhere for and traveled four states away to pick up. I wanted a quattro because I work at a ski area. Now that I have it home I don’t want to drive it in the snow and get it dirty. Wish I wasn’t so anal about this.

I drive up and down a 6 mile two lane mountain road for work. When being tailgated on the way down, I occasionally run quite fast into the first tight corner near the bottom of the hill. Fun to see them swerve when they have not anticipated the corner because they are so focused on riding my bumper.
