Porsche has always been conservative with its figures. Tesla just makes bold claims and delivers on half of them.

I was hoping for a NYC mode. The car would roll down the windows and instead of a horn the car through a loudspeaker say "GO FUCK YOURSELF!!!!!".

My company’s old IT guy fell into this exact mold over his Model 3 deposit.

They did sell quite a few 3's in the end, but did see about a 25% cancellation rate in the US on preorders before the first cars were delivered. Also, that was a $1000 deposit, which is obviously much more substantial. And, and it was on a car with a theoretical starting price of about half for what is really a much

Clarkson acknowledged that climate change is an issue. Great.

I don’t agree with Clarkson hating on Greta, but I think his message is valid. Why should we sit around and argue about how we are going to die and when we are going to die, instead of focusing on how to fix these issues?

It’s essentially a refundable Go Fund Me for Tesla. People are putting down 'deposits' to show support for Tesla. When they actually come calling for $60k in exchange for a truck, there are going to be whole lot of empty promises.

Yeah all but the third one was better than any of Charley’s Angels movies I’ve seen or the show.

have you?

the only thing people have to legitimately to poke fun at is when toby danced. that’s it.

The trailers made it seem like it was forcibly “for women” rather than being a good movie with women in it. It looked bad in every respect—awful music choices, unfunny retorts, bad action, unclear plot. In contrast, take Atomic Blonde, which has a kick-ass female protagonist that didn’t need to constantly remind us of

Boomers deserve every bit of ridicule that can be thrown at them.

Opposite-rock

People seemed to do okay with big trucks, station wagons, etc. “back in the day”. It’s people being inattentive, lazy lumps that leads to this.

Ok boomer

Driving isn't a right. People should be held to reasonable standards. The current standards borderline on having a pulse allows for a license.
