It's projected from inside the tunnel. Not that obvious in the gif, but the video shows it well.

This needs to be part of the article. It took all of thirty seconds skimming through the comments to find at least two idiots whining about their precious "freshly washed" cars getting wet.
Easy solution. Don't be such a bitch.
Water? On your freshly washed car? The horror is absolute.
Just remember to nail the board to the bar, 'cause at some point Mac will forget it's nailed down and try to flip it.
Double post
Born & raised in the south, still here today.
How many of these respective countries comprise 3.8 million square miles? There are days when I cover 400 miles just working, not to include the extra 60 involved in my commute. But yeah, I'm sure the European model would work fine. Just fine.
Yeah, AFAIK Bethesda are fans of Mojang, given the nifty "Notch's Pickaxe" easter egg on top of the mountain.
"how come there isn't a superhuge, super-funded video game lobbying group to stop garbage like this? If the NRA can line the pockets of politicians enough to kill assault rifle bans, why can't videogame companies stop this bullshit through lobbying/money?"
Lawnmower Man came out in '92, and the idea of VR has been tossed around almost since the beginning, with primitive head-mounted displays dating back to the 1970's. It's an idea that reality is just now catching up to, with our cheap supply of computational power and "smaller-by-the-day" electronics.
Same here. Currently playing through it the third time on PC, first two I did on the PS3. While I think it's an "okay" game, and I still dig the setting and can stand to play through it more than once, I still can't kick the feeling that the original did far more with far less.
I live not far from Roebling Road. Used to watch 911's run out there on the weekends when I was a teenager. Kind of surprised it's as well-known as it is, nobody around here seems to pay it much mind.
Magnets, yo.
Yeah, I lol'd.
Hey... my engine is a perfectly rational size.
Hell, with the power/weight ratio, I'd believe it could hit 300mph. Whether or not you'd want to cheat death and physics by trying it without any wind deflection for the rider or aerodynamic structures generating downforce is the question.
Agreed. I think the absolute max you'd need in a mkII chassis is a tuned VR6 putting out a max of 300hp. Hell, those cars are a blast to drive with stock motors throwing out barely 100hp. Stiffen the frame, firm up the ride— don't go full retard on the motor, and you've got magic on wheels.
I bet that motor was superb in the R32. First time I drove my GTI I gave it a bit of throttle and threw it into an on ramp. It made a wonderful noise and said "bitch, please" to the cloverleaf. I can only imagine how well the AWD digs in..
Volkswagen VR6. I always loved the way the intake wraps over the valve cover. And it sounds like Chewbacca.
