I’ve read this before - just a copy paste job, but impressive stats nonetheless

“Why bother? Some broad gets on there with a staticky sweater and, BOOM. It’s, ‘oh, the humanity!’”
Ah, NJ Emissions.
So what? It’s not a customer-facing job. Clothes have zero influence on a person’s ability to do a job, so leave that “everyone must wear a shirt and tie to the office” bullshit back in the 1950s where it belongs.
Ever been to an assembly plant? That’s the standard uniform for a line worker - comfortable with nothing that can scratch the paint.
The BBB is, on the whole, a pretty useless organization. They’re funded by businesses, they have no teeth, and they have no real incentive to use their imaginary teeth.
A large part of my issue was simply driving the thing. I don’t think I’ll ever find a less rewarding ‘sporty’ vehicle again in my life. Truthfully one of the most boring cars I’ve ever driven, and I’ve driven 10-year old automatic Audi A4's. Then, after owning it long enough to necessitate an oil change, come to find…
Once I read Mk7 GTI I knew how this was gonna end. And I've had nothing but good luck with the 5 VWs I've owned since '92. Go figger.
My previous car gave its life to save me in an accident. At the time, my dad was buying a new car, so he agreed to give me his old one. It was a ‘78 Ford Fairmont with the I6 and the 3-speed slushbox.
“outside of taxes”? Why would it be outside of taxes? You're already paying gas tax.
I had a 10 year old E46. It handled like a champ and made me happy since the day I bought it to the day I traded it in. But I didn’t want to go any older than that, since I could only afford an E46 or an E36, and I wasn’t a big fan of the E36. E30s started appreciating in value a while back.
Clearly he didn’t read the warning...
Oh goodness yes, this argument has pissed me off a lot. I used to drive a BMW 3 series, and all the “Ha, typical BMW asshat” comments were really irksome. If a car is good and has what you are looking for, why would you bother with this weird perception thing? It is just baffling. I recommended the WRX to my friend,…
I’ve been super smug with this storm. My first with a truck/SUV. I was the first to make it down our road, which still hasn’t been plowed. 2002 Xterra SE 4x4 with Yoko geolandars seems to be just fine for 25"+. Haven’t even had to drop to 4Lo.
The only time I’ve done it was on a highway with ~6" of snow, and so was able to pass in the left lane while the plow stayed to the right. Was driving a ‘95 XJ and had zero problems in either the pass or afterwards...
i haven’t seen this many balls roll around since Eunuch Orientation.
Ya same with truck u. Watched it yesterday and about 10 mins of 30 are actually the show
Well the Tercel was $75 so I just hacked it up. I took the springs out completely so it rode on blown shocks. Other interesting facts.
spray paint jobs are the best paint jobs, bro. as far as all the other stuff, this car went through that too. smashes with shopping carts, road cones, road barrels, 4 wheelin’ at the canal, you name it, the titty bouncer hit it.
My MkIII VR6 had that same rock magnet. What a noise! Scared the pants off pedestrians if it started up mid-trip n before I could get to a parking lot for a “time me!”. Happened a buncha times in cinder paradise of lake effect snow land.
