Mine was an ‘88 with overload bars on it. I used it a lot harder than an s10 was supposed to be. I told the guy at the quarry to keep dumping until she squat.

Ugh. Route 80. I love how on one side of 287, it’s beautiful rolling foresty hills with plenty of room, and on the other side it’s CONSTRUCTION LITTLE LANES SO MANY CARS WHYYYY.

I still have the scale reciept around somewhere of over a ton of river rock in the bed of a first gen s10.

Yup.

Amen. I drive a truck because I need it for work and because I like it. It is big, it is comfortable, and it hauls or pulls whatever I put behind it. Usually the people that criticize “truck guys” are the first ones who call to borrow it when they need something hauled.

I can’t handle the suspense! Did you or did you not exit right?! Don’t just end the video like that.

It embarrasses me deeply that I have a relative that’s a “truck guy” for “safety” reasons. I swear if I have to hear about the time he creamed a Pathfinder and come out in better shape one more time...

The Koch Brothers win no matter what you use in the East. They have petroleum interests, and coal-electric interests. As far as cars go, they make much more on the petroleum.

“Now it’s easier to die because everyone drives on bald ass tires”

Seeing as how NJ scrapped their safety inspection program 5 years ago, I doubt it is something lawmakers here care about. Sure, a dash cam might help you after the fact, but that doesn’t help much when your car is totaled or you are dead.

I hate when idiots on scrap metal trucks write “stay back, not responsible for damage to your vehicle” - actually, you are

She was fine. The wheel flipped up over the windshield, hit the car next to her and then caromed between the two cars. Most of the damage was due to the car next to her freaking out and ramming her after the wheel had gone on to hit the next car.

Because 9 times out of ten they get away with it. For them, those are great odds, for the rest of traffic that has to deal with 1/10 * 1000 people every day, the odds aren’t so great.
