I will agree, the first time you do drum brakes, it takes a while. The 2nd time though, it’s drastically reduced. Only take apart 1 side at a time and use the other side as a reference. Took me like 2 hours to do one side on my 80 Z28. Half an hour to do the other side.

Bret has had a rough go of it when you really think about it. Montreal screwjob, went to WCW and was buried there by Hogan, Owen dies, Davey Boy dies, the rest of his siblings have all sorts of personal issues, and now he has prostate cancer. On the bright side, he’s still alive, more than a lot of former professional

I’ve provided my own parts at a few shops in the past. They never seemed to mind at all, only informed me that if there was a failure due to the part itself, their warranty would not apply. Failure due to their labor would still be covered. I’ve always had the impression that if they refuse to allow you to provide

100% agreed. I’ve used AAA for a couple years now, definitely worth it in the tows alone.

Always liked these cars, and the following generation as well. My friends in high school were obsessed with the F&F look-alike cars, they drove FWD non-turbo Eclipses and 3000GTs, covered in bad tribal graphics and gigantic wings. Meanwhile, I knew a girl a year ahead of us who drove a Talon TSi that had no mods, and

I just put those on my truck seats! Got them for super cheap on Amazon, they fit well enough for a cheap seat cover and it beats getting duct tape glue all over my jeans. And I like the pattern better than the red/black MOPAR seat covers that were on there. Before and after on the driver’s side:

I knew that helmet looked familiar! Was saddened by having to scroll for more than half a second to see this, but glad it’s here. Good work.

That always throws up a big red flag to me. “Hey it’s a simple fix, I’m just lazy and would rather sell the car” means “It’s gonna cost a ton of money and I think I can lie to you and unload this pile of crap.”

So true, the internet is full of experts on every single topic known to man. “Don’t question me, I took a seminar on this in college.”

I was thinking the exact same thing. I guess they couldn’t find a store to rob some shackles from before they started.

10k seems to be a common factory interval now. My 2009 GTI had 10k intervals too, Castrol full synthetic as the OE oil. Once the free scheduled maintenance period was up, I went to 5k and changed it myself.

Now that’s my kind of bank. Get a quick cash loan for 20 boxes of ziti at a low low 20% interest rate, and grab a slice and a Coke on my way out. Kneecaps are accepted forms of payment too, which is convenient until I run out of them.

From one Sean to another, hope the rest of your recovery goes well.

Trolling? Honestly I can’t tell. Either you hate children more than any evil character from every kids movie ever, or your trying to get people to bite. Either way, boo-urns to you.

May have had something to do with airlines losing dogs in transit and the dog not being at the destination, dogs dying in the cargo area, etc. Plenty of people (my sister included) won’t fly with their dogs for this reason.

Uhhh, it’s seems to always have been OK to have a dog in a hardware/auto parts/industrial type store (from what I can remember of the last 30 years of my life). Shit, the hardware store/nursery in my town has 2 dogs that live there, always hanging out in the parking lot or in the store itself. They are well trained

Awesome, thanks for the summary. I am definitely not set on having the military version, it just seems that the only diesels I stumble across are military surplus. I’ll keep the info in mind if I do pull the trigger and ever buy one. Right now, focus is on getting student loans paid off, then dropping some money on a

Sweet, thanks for the info.

I’m not a huge Alfa fan or anything, but that deserves a SCHWING for sure.
