When you say between do you mean like in Binghamton or the Endless Mt. region? People here are pessimistic, I will say that. I think the weather and the economic stagnancy plays a part. But I do think this is great land and well positioned between Canada and NYC, everything is a 6 hour drive from here. and I don’t

the 607 ladies are a cut above....

Easy pal.... Some of us were born and raised here.... Great cycling, swimming, skiing, local sports, cheap living and cheap land. No one here is anxious but some are forlorn for our greater past.

a fellow CNYer? Fantastic

bars are open to 4 AM my man.... they figured, 4 lost superbowls, drink till 4 am to forget it...

James Soften.

That kind of response gonna get you on that ISIS watch-list....

Because not acquiring black talent means you are? wtf are you even talking about. this debate is devoid of any facts or meaning... why are you pulling this shit?

dude. no. pay attention. that shit is so tired.

Nah i wouldn’t say that. I think he actually recruits guys based on wingspan more than anything else. And yes, recruiting has been down. Maybe because those kids are looking more at the play in the NBA and thinking “why go learn this antiquated 2-3 zone system when I’m only playing 1 year anyways, better to go play

Yeah but who have they fucking beat man!? Any top 10 teams? How many top 50 RPI teams? Syracuse beat 6 of them. Lets dismiss Vandy. USC and Wake Forest really have no business being in over Syracuse in my opinion. USC won 2 good games at home against SMU and UCLA, hasn’t been a team with a winning record since

MSU kind of got the Syracuse treatment from last year, a highly favorable seed for their record and body of work. Syracuse’s issue was not actually playing those small teams early (everyone does that), but actually if they had scheduled some of the local cupcakes as road games instead of home games, the committee

Well its clear the chair of the committee this year valued bad losses over good wins. And they had numerous bad losses before the conference play started. I think that was the man’s point. It’s not an unfair criteria, it’s just different criteria from last year. That’s the truth. I’d love to see Vandy and USC win 10

someone gets fucked. it could have gone either way. im just saying based on the wins they did have, Syracuse looked like they could get in and win a couple games, I wouldn’t say that about some others

OG poster was saying that Boeheim hurts his players chances in the NBA because he is brutally honest in the press about how hard it is to make it in the league.... that was the catalyst of the conversation.... my take is, he’s right to bring this up, and that they are going to have more success playing the zone in

Credit this year? I’m confused. Listen, I’m saying they do get good players, but they do not get the NBA All Start talent other teams do. Except for yes, 15 years ago they did in Carmelo Anthony.... I get it. Syracuse was firmly a bubble team this year. They got “fucked” simply because they are a better team than a

How has Syracuse’s success not directly shown that Boeheim is an excellent coach because he does less with more? Those players aren’t NBA level talents to begin with. He knows that, he’s just being brutally honest about it.

Don’t get credit for making the Final Four?..... interesting take when calling out someone else’s bullshit. Lets discuss what is really at the source of this. He recruits and exclusively plays the 2-3 zone. That’s a large part of how they got to the Final Four last year, and a few years prior.... Additionally he only

And they’ve been in the Final Four in 2 of the past 5 years... I think that negates your point more than that one game from last year.

Um. He’s a very good coach. He coaches raw talent into good players. Its not a contradiction or having it both ways. What I’m saying is those other programs get the clearly “one and done” players who are already NBA prospects before they even play a single game in college. Those guys do not come to Syracuse typically.
