Personally - and this is just me - I like to contribute to my 401k up to the amount my employer matches (maximize the free money). Anything additional I want to contribute, I put into my IRA. I don't make enough to be too concerned with contributing to my 401k and maxing out my IRA and still wanting to contribute more.

Ever since I moved over to a touch screen laptop, I find myself using keyboard, mouse and touch. So much so that I catch myself poking at my two monitors all the time, and feel like a real doofus when i keep tapping an icon and nothing happens.
