Year One needs to be somewhere on this list. Preferably replacing anything Batman Beyond-related.

Give me voice search that actually allows me to go outside the Amazon ecosystem. THEN I’ll be impressed.
Any ideas if this will spill over to the FireTV Spotify app? Right now, there are approximately zero apps for podcasts on that platform....

Step 1 should be: Enjoy what you do. Step 2 is spot on, but after that the article could have been much shorter :)
In my experience, you have 1 or 2 RACS’s doing the actual work, and 20 I’s to insulate one another from the customer.
Remember, this requires the people who determine the desired “results” know what the fuck they’re talking about. Metrics and customer satisfaction are great ways to gauge success, but you’d be surprised how much you can screw yourself by promoting behavior that looks best on a powerpoint in the boardorom, rather than…
I had questions like these 15 years ago when I was first starting out, but have not had them since. I’m in IT which I’d like to think is (for the most part) pretty meritocratic. Are these questions still A Thing across all fields? or is this specific to all entry-level position interviews?

Get some yoga videos and a mirror. You can bend yourself awake, no joke.
OK what’s everyone’s stance on gifts/cards? Without being too dramatic about it, we got straight up STIFFED by a lot of people. They showed up, ate our food, drank our booze, and danced to our music. Wonder how this impacts global entry applications, as you need a passport + additional form of ID.
reminds me of...
“Well nevermind then. Fuck Alaska.”
Ceviche: I used to love it (almost) to death. Never again.
Anybody here try the Tim Ferris 4 hour body thing? Slow carb and all that? I did that for a few years and was pleased with the results - granted there wasnt any sort of drastic change as I wasn’t that much over my ideal bodyweight. But still, as far as a diet lifestyle goes, that one worked well for me. I think that’s…
Popcorn, frozen chicken and hot dogs. That’s about it for human food for our dog....
Is the “tons and tons of water” thing a myth? I guess we’re talking about when someone is past the point of being able to ingest anything, but for me the warning signs are always pretty obvious - pull them away from the crowd, get them some water, maybe go on a walkabout....prevention is the best medicine and all that
