i did have a little problem with korra trusting zaheer so soon after he scared the shit out of her 1st thing,but i do like that they show zaheer evolving and maturing instead of just being 'bad'.always nice to have some shading+nuance in characters,especially in a cartoon.

100% agree.also they said the guys that "raped his family" were his former neighbors.wtf? so you're former neighbors randomly raped your wife+KIDS while you were out looking for food/supplies? that doesn't make any sense+was certainly not implied by any of the scenes shown in flashback.

of course the problem with that logic is the ability to get into wherever the "safe room" is in d.c.if there is some underground bunker full of supplies/whatever,it's already been locked down,so it's seems foolish to think you could get in.certainly the city itself is no safer than any other city they've come across.

i found the "classified" claim to the the most ridiculous,since there was no one left to keep secrets from.i mean,would you be worried about russians,isis,or canadians finding out about state secrets?what would they do with the information?use it to de-stabilize the u.s.?
