i would love to see this ep. told with v-stein as the protagonist in an epic hero story.his tortured backstory and his uplifting breaking of his bonds! great ep.,but the ending did feel forced.i was expecting the beach with the refugees would get napalmed apocalypse now-style.

far and away the smartest show on television.the wit is honed razor sharp.

they're putting villains in comic books now?jesus h. jones, when does is end?

when you're solutions to problems are getting real high and asking "what's going on?",i'm afraid you're not really being proactive about anything.

"…it's the only one that qualifies as art." more like fart, amirite guys?

3 cheers again to vanderwerff.i can't think of any other entertainment-type news source that would have the creators of this series interviewed about its origins.thanks buddy, you're tops!

re:great casting, eli was played by ben foster, who grew up to be a pretty fine actor himself.

i kept waiting for a reveal on the "showstealer pro trial version" watermark in some of the montage video pieces of past story elements.am i forgetting something from the old episodes?

with superpowers like puny pistol and spying, how can it not be?

i have to object to asking someone what shows they like, then mentioning the show you like.just say "aren't the shows i like good?"

bravo vanderwerff! and oh shit freaks+geeks! here's to more insightful, thoughtful analysis.

grow up.

i still cannot imagine seeing it as a double feature w/ grave of the fireflies, which is the polar opposite in tone.bizarro-world billing.

i would vote the dubbed version of all cowboy bebop episodeds plus the movie over the japanese…if you're a native english speaker, that is.really nuanced performances.

of course you're aware they made a track on this album with giorgio moroder, right?

tell that to the dance floor,sucka..

All Together Now! "lesbian seagull….lesbian seagull…"

post-haste,i would imagine.

there there, dear.just breath deeply…in with the good air,out with the bad air….there you go.

to describe anything in this episode as "terrifying" seems to me an enormous overstatement.this season's episodes have all been playful and fun,but there is a severe lack of any sense of stakes or danger to them.it's like a superhero cartoon, where the danger is presented, hijinks ensue, and you know the good guy will
