That’s not a basic MMO function, you monster. It’s a basic JRPG function, but I’ve not played many MMOs that have had an optimum gear option.

That was my point. After reading the Boston Magazine article I felt some pity for Schilling, who is portrayed as someone who wanted to treat his employees fairly and kindly. The article quotes several employees who say they still love the man even after everything that happened. And clearly he’s got some issues. But…
Down goes another individual for thinking something the hive doesn’t like! We did it, Internet!
This is what happens now huh? Someone has a different opinion and everyone seeks to internet shame them huh? “how dare you have a different opinion than the hive mind! Quick everyone write articles and tweetshame”. this isn’t news, this is a lynch mob for thinking differently.
No, as I detailed in the piece I linked a few times in this post:
Hot take:
I love my Vita! I was just poking fun at you, friend-o.
Some people were gifted them AND enjoy them. Fancy that.
I had no love for EVE while playing it briefly, but I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of reading up on the craziness that goes on.
I think companies really need to get out of the habit on firing people because the internet demands a sacrifice. It only encourages people to continue using toxic behaviors to push their agendas.
I’d say the problem is having meaningful group content and not something arbitrarily added to create a grind like in B&S. In FFXIV, you have to complete the group dungeon to continue the story. In WoW, the early group content was optional, but provided powerful items for your level.
I’m wary to get into this argument again on Kotaku, but AdBlock is a very bad thing. Most of the sites I use every day are run by ads, and the more people use AdBlock, the less that is profitable and the more they will move over to a subscription service. I don’t want to pay a subscription for most of the things I do…
To support the sites you browse?
I’m getting real sick of these ads covering half the article, and don’t tell me to get adblock, I know about it, but there are reasons I don’t use it. If I’m willing to look at your goddamn ads, at least have the decency to let me read the content.
If by “all trust has been lost” you mean “thanks Kotaku for sharing so many high-quality video game music rips!”
Trust me: these are high-quality!
I will continue to pitch my sequel idea to Remedy.
some people (like me) get upset when gone home comes up in a top 10 list like this because in our opinion it's not a very good game. You have other games like journey or transistor that involve more than going around a house looking at things.
