I force my friends to watch the trailer for this movie whenever the topic of Her comes up (and drinking). I remember seeing this movie a lot as a kid, finding it pretty stressful but loving the soundtrack.

Vermont St.Bernal Heights, Forest Hills, Marina, St Francis, Diamond Heights, Glen Canyon, Sea Cliff all have curvy tight blocks. Also the steep hills of SF are "curves" if you consider 3 dimensions in the sense that you can't see far along them depending on your vantage. But yeah its basically Manhattan.

You could do something like "Brick" there. A kind of nothing nowheresvillle suburban urban wasteland but with a crazy cross-section of cultures. Something land rights, something good girl murdered, something tech company evil.
