While I'm sure this is welcome for those who don't have the DVDs/Blu-Ray/episodes downloaded etc, this does strike me as a bit odd move. The series is over, finished, it's brilliance still echoing across, but surely it's a bit odd to marathon the whole thing now, surely?

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Not initally, though - didn't the series have an increase in budget for series five?

Did you catch Moffat's whole rant about how The Doctor 'isn't your boyfriend' rant about how The Doctor will no longer be romantic towards his companions?

No, it's deliberate drip feeding and I love the BBC all the more for it :) It gives people space to let go of Eleven, just like the 2009 specials did with Ten :)

Also, in the original script for The Doctor's Wife, it is said she was very fond of Leela. Probably because Leela wasn't afraid to call The Doctor out on his nonsense :)

But, as many fans have pointed out to me in the past, Christopher Hamilton Bidmead science by itself is actually very sketchy.

For me, I think it's best when The Doctor is put at somewhat of a distance, exploring him too much takes away the edge of the character.

Well, Neil Gaiman certiantly has softened up towards video games, hasn't he? :Shudders at the memory of Virus:

I haven't seen the original series, but I'll probably see this at some point with my niece whilist I'm babysitting. I've only really known Will Frediele (who played a character in the original series) as Terry McGinnis (the lead in Batman Beyond), so it's going to be REALLY strange seeing him here.

I'm not all in the know about everything Taylor Swift, apart from that apparently she's a little bit too obbessed about writing about her previous public relationships in her songs, but she seems overall harmless. Like the James Franco stuff, it just seems a bit beneath The AV Club, personally.

This decision doesn't inspire me with a lot of confidence.

I don't know. Big Finish might do it long in the future…it'd be intresting to see Amy yelling at Five just to get on with it or matching wits with the First Doctor.

So, what exactly was behind the whole rant from a member of the Catholic Church that Teletubbies had a 'gay agenda'?

A one night stand is nothing to brag about? I wouldn't go as far as bragging, but well…how about fun? Tension release? Andy Cohen doesn't sound like he's having any such fun whatsoever :)

Doesn't sound sad to me :)

Unless the second film bombs, of course.

This is not depressing at all.

To be fair, we really don't know what happened.

I haven't seen the show and know little of Marilyn Manson, but isn't he afraid that the role might reflect badly upon him? I don't think he's a regular actor….
