I don't know, rough start aside, Dollhouse is really holding the descent into the apocylaspe really, really well. Just watching those people walking along their everyday lives and then falling to the ground, stripped of their identities and becoming dolls and then KNOWING it's happening everywhere is scary as fuck.

Which will save Hannibal :)

And y'know there was that Firefly thing which got cancelled and that Heroes got five seasons (I believe?)

But, we'll be hatewatching, which is the ironic form of watching!

Despite my love of super heroes, this show never quite clicked for me, but I did watch some episodes because, well, hey, it was genre TV! But for me: the point where I had to stop was the scene in which The Cheerleader character apologised to her rapist for trying to kill him. I understand that attempting to kill

Ah, I forgot that. It's a shame really, what lets season 19 down so much isn't so much the change of tone (which I wouldn't have minded so much, change is a crucial part of the show after all), but the stories themselves - and wasting Jacqueline Hill in a role like that is criminal.

I think both stories have the potential to be good outings, but fail a bit in the execution. It's a shame, because I love the first thirty minutes of Who and do recgonise a bit of real-life fandom in them (nerdy get to gatherings where you always have that one guy who gets annoyed when things get off track) and the

The effect never really worked for me, sadly. I'm particularly bitter about Meglos for a number of reasons, though: a) It's such a waste of a story in my favourite companion's last season (Romana!) and b) Tom does his best here with the material, giving a great performance as Meglos (I imagine it was to give his

You may laugh, but when I was a kid, I always anxiously awaited to see the next episode of The Simpsons after the Halloween special in which Mr Burn's head was surgically placed on to Homer's when the series was in reruns and was confused and greatly annoyed when the episode never materlised. I concluded that they

What about Meglos?

I know I'm in the minority here, but I actually really enjoyed Aliens of London, but found that World War Three was where things really fell apart for that two parter (and despite some flaws in the script, I lay the blame more at Kieth Boak's direction)
I don't like gross out humor at all, personally - but I actually

A bit of a suprise that Universal has let the set to come to be how it is, given just how huge Psycho reams in pop culture. I wonder why they've let it become so run down?

I saw the original Psycho when I was in Year 9 for English as part of a horror module (not sure what the American equavilant is - middle school?) and the show scene scarred me for my life. I can never ever take a shower without wondering if someone is there.

But it is disturbing that a character who was previously depicted as a strong independent woman is adapted to be a vapid stalker-type who lives for Bugs, regardless of her merits as a character originally. Why didn't they just create a new character for the show? The kids who are watching most likely will never have

I've only watched one of his reviews, but the guy creeped me out. When watching his review of Fern Gully, he kept going on about how the bat character was looking up the female character's skirt and giggling like a five year old manchild. Guy creeps me out, personally.

Thanks :)

Hi, I'm Australian! Just wondering: is basketball that big in America anymore? Might seem like an odd question, but if memory serves me right, it seemed to penetrate a lot of American shows in the nineties when I was a kid, but doesn't seem to be seen that much on American TV presently. (Of course, it could be, I just

I read somewhere that apparently there's quite a bit of queer subtext with Bugs in a lot of the old shorts and that Lola may have orginated from this to reassure parents that Bugs wasn't gay.

That said, it's still a cut above the latest iteration for the characters (Lola, from memory, was a one-note character in Space Jam, but The Looney Tunes Show in a mould as scatter-brained stalker-type which, if memory serves, was told, Bugs urges to shut up all the time) .

I'll take Aladdin :)
