While those shows are wonderful and brilliant, they are often talked about in these and similar circles - why not shine the light on slightly more obscure delights?

I've heard Greg Weisman is involved with Rebels - just as a writer or showrunner?
Oh, well, that's good to hear :) But even if they do open up Netflix here, it might (I am not informed enough on why this is the way it is), it might not be as plentiful as it's overseas counterparts. Itunes Australia for example, is pretty sparse in comparsion to Itunes America, and perhaps Netflix will be similar.…
Given that that there is a new animated series based around the property, I think it's very, very unlikely, particularly since didn't the new iteration go for a more Avengers movie-look? I think Marvel probably wants to make any animated series based on their properties to be similar in vein, to draw kids in to see…
For me, it depends: I mean, what is on Netflix that I would watch? I'm very, very picky about my TV choices (which is ironic: as TV get's my head together as part of my disability, but hey) If there's the rest of Batman Beyond, Young Justice: Season 2 (they only released season one here on DVD, sadly), Korra, Arrested…
Pirates of the Dark Water sounded like a great lot of fun and I hated it when shows were just cancelled as a kid and you were left hoping agasint hope after every cycle of re-runs, that they would show the new episodes and they never arrived.
No, he was right :)
A bit rude, don't you think?
Heh, I'm Australian, so I'm not really in the know to what your refering to :)
My apologies, I edited my comment and didn't see you replying there.
I was of the understanding that there was going to be a comic book mini-series from Dark Horse which does wrap up the remaining plot threads, though. But, even if I'm incorrect on that, isn't it best to at least have at least some new episodes as opposed to none at all, which appear to be providing at least some…
I don't want to offend you, but I really don't understand how you can be negative about this. I haven't watched this show, but my understanding is that most fans believed the show to be gone completly, with no chance of a revival at all when Disney bought the property - and now, it's back! Yes, back on Netflix which…
I'd love it if Firefly came back, but didn't Joss Whedon say that any sort of revival at the moment is off the cards as he pursues other projects and the cast are already deeply involved in other projects? Perhaps, one day…. :(
Can..can I just hug you now for that comment? Young Justice was awesome and I was gutted to hear it was cancelled, with all the lingering plot threads. (Hi everyone, if it's okay, could you mark any spoilers for DC Comics, in it's non-52 or 52 variations? I just haven't read that many comics) It wasn't a perfect show…
Hi everyone :) From this, I may start watching this series from the beginning - my biggest problem was that in episodes I did see, there was an almost calculated feeling to the series, a determination from the creator's hands to make right, rather then just getting on with telling a good story. (A problem which I feel…
I'm not taking away what he did. He could have killed someone and hopefully someone steers him in a direction where he can actually comprehend what he's doing, where the industry has clearly messed him up. Thank fuck, he didn't and no-one got hurt and this troubled young man doesn't have to live with that on his…
Well, straight sex is gross :)
I haven't seen him in anything other then when Twilight was on TV, but many an actor has been cast in lackluster roles and has proved their talent on more substantial roles, so who knows? It's not as if with Twilight he had a lot to work with.
Personally, I'm wondering if he really is Beth's Father, instead of just another version of him from a parallel universe. Which is all sorts of frightening and sad.
And well, it's The Doctor, so you know it's going to be VERY strange.
