@Torley: If you are on a Mac, check out Mailplane.app. Don't use it myself but it seems to be generating a lot of interest and discussion. It does exactly what you want. Desktop client for Gmail (and I believe it has offline capabilities.
@tvjames: Wow thanks! I tested that out and it seems to be working great! This will be an excellent workaround for "unlimited" email addresses since so many sites do not accept the plus sign.
@tvjames: How were you able to use nicknames to generate emails based on a per site basis? Can you use wildcards in nicknames or do you have to create a nickname for every registration?
The real hot ticket would be to use the new formed edition of Split Dollar which is called Capital Split Dollar.

Another option for Firefox users is the extension CustomizeGoogle which not only allows for blocking of all these spam sites, it can also hide the ads shown in Google searches.
I personally prefer all the freeware/utilities (for Macs) as well as the tips on how to accomplish certain things such as Budget Bot or how to use Gmail better, etc. I find less interest with all the different Roundups. Love you guys! Keep it uppp!
It looks to me like if someone were to create a search engine called Sex, they'd have a much better chance at a mass audience then either Google or "The engine formerly known as Ask."
Ask.com can be a little more helpful though from a blog owner/website owner's perspective though.
