So happy for you! Sounds like you've been through the ringer. When you gained weight on Zoloft and Effexor, were you able to lose it? If so, did you go through a period where it was nearly impossible to do so! Or did it start to come off right away?

My doc won't give me Wellbutrin because of a history of seizure. Such a bummer. Glad it's doing the trick for you tho. :)

I'd love to go on Wellbutrin. However, I have a history of seizure so it's a no go. What are you afraid of specifically? Do you trust your psychologist? If not you could shop around for a new one. Having someone with a good bedside manner has made a ton of difference for me. Good luck. :)

Ugh, that's awful. What a tool that guy is! My psych said I wouldn't gain on celexa. My therapist was like, whatdafug? Lots of people gain on it. When she followed up with him (which they'd both agreed to) he yelled at her, saying she'd crossed the line. I nixed him with a quickness.

Great, thanks! Not sure why my psych recommended what she did. The criteria was didn't want to gain weight but don't want to suffer low to moderate depression. Prozac never come up other than to help with tapering off Effexor.

I was on depakote for seizures as a teen! It didn't make me gain weight, far as I could tell. My therapist has mentioned lamictal as a mood stabilizer alternative or supplement to an antidepressant. She said I wouldn't gain weight on it. Good to know you like it!
