You can clearly see the car swerve and crash into the wall. Just watch the whole video. Doesn’t look like there’s any car in front of the Cobalt thought.

And Mary Barra was like “See, the Cobalt actually saved someone!”

Here in Florida we had a dealership that offered an AK-47 free with your purchase of a truck.

Bump starting may be difficult at Moab.

Now playing

The first thing I though of upon seeing your comment was David et all running around the Jeep to the tune of Yakety Sax. Desperately yet comically trying to finish this project in time.

Think connecting a 12V battery to a 6V system might have contributed to that a little?

A paid advertisement wouldn’t end with “and it’ll get 3.9 MPG and cost $200+ more in gas a week.”

The first car where I remember hearing about this was the Pontiac G8 — around $1,000 more for the stick. Seemed ridiculous to me, but it’s a volume/demand issue and the market will bear the extra price. Go to Home Depot and look at a $150 toilet. Now go over to the Kitchen & Bath desk and ask them how much for the

“absolute badass in the courtroom.”

Best Tweet on the subject so far...

Don’t compare this to a zipper merge. This is NOT a zipper merge. At all.

Oh, I see your problem. The valves should be on *top* of the piston.

I wrote this Friday. Here, have a picture:

It’s being held together by bird drippings and lead paint

Then it sounds like you need to do a radiator cap replacement. Take the radiator cap off the CJ, put it on a different vehicle, then drive that vehicle and call it good.

Ahhhh shit David, that sucks. Don’t give up on it, just transfer it to a long-term project. Make it next year’s Moab vehicle. If you want a quick one, I got a ‘84 CJ that needs very little to wheel at Moab I can let go. Needs a clutch and 258 leaks oil. Standard stuff, valve cover and rear main seal. Already has a 4:1

He gained me as a reader, because that was damn entertaining.

Ahem, it’s “Ford Five Hundred.”

My first car, a 1982 Plymouth Reliant wagon. It was uncool in most imaginable ways, not engaging or great to drive, pretty damn slow, and needed repairs fairly frequently.
