I don’t play sport games but I remember vividly how beautiful the 2k games were compare to madden on PS1. Dreamcast had that year to itself when it was just pushing out gems. My favorite console hands down. 

I simply adjust my expectations accordingly and fill in the gaps lacking from budget and storytelling. I’ve seen PLENTY of shitty white movies for a lifetime. On a whole black story telling is on an upward trend.
