Sure. But when it is company policy not to do so...then everyone won't be able to.

Most places won't take an open PC game with a receipt.

SHOULD BE ERROR #1!

"Bliazzard's consumers sure seem a lot more stoic and tolerant to me"

Nothing lasts forever though.

The difference there...is a no-cd patch doesn't take too long to make and host.

I agree with you.

It isn't exactly "DRM"....well not in the way of a "key and locK" they have the majority of the game(AI etc) on their servers.

You won't be able to play this game offline, ever, unless they release all the content that is stored server-side.

"It has to be noted though how little people complains about Blizzard's online singleplayer content, in comparision to Ubisoft's always online DRM debacle."

You can't play?

They are doing an "emergency maintenance" it'll be back up in one hour...supposedly.

"I think what we have here is a failure to communicate."

"They cant have a secure server infrastructure and also have a disconnected online version of the game. It's never happened. "

" I never, ever played Diablo 2 single player."
