I much prefer honesty to blind positivity. They’re just opinions. Maybe you’ll have different ones. The opinions don’t actually matter, what matters is if they’re well articulated. Just because The A.V. Club doesn’t like these movies doesn’t mean you have to dislike them. This has repeatedly shown to be a hard concept

I’m fucking stoked about these best screenplay wins Phantom Thread is picking up. I can not wait to watch it. Until then, The Florida Project is my movie of the year.

The scenario has been done before, but the execution, I thought, was very smart and subtle. This movie was infinitely more believable than some boring episode of The Walking Dead. They talked like real people. They weren’t walking exposition machines. It just dropped us into its world and asked us to catch up. I think

Damn. Really wanted to hear what she had to say about The Neon Demon. I love that movie.

When I think “derivative horror movie” I think of the latest Conjuring crap. I definitely do not think of It Comes At Night. I thought the information that It Comes At Night withheld was very purposeful and provocative, because it really sold me on the fear and mistrust that the movie was trafficking in.

“But creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland set things right with what might be the best season of the show so far...”

Lil Doo Doo was supposed to be a parody of Lil Pump, actually.

This is fucking brilliant. Tim is doing next-level stuff here.

For instance, the way Russell reacted to Gamby saying he was the killer last episode felt like it was manipulated in a way to trick the audience and create conflict, and not true to how he

No, I meant to reply to you, JohnLee. You were being a dick. Huskybro is clearly just joking around in the first post. In the second, all Huskybro does is disagree with you. I disagree with you too. I also thought, despite the little screentime she had, and what little was said, Heidi Gardner’s voice/mannerisms were

Is your ego really that fragile? You’re being needlessly aggressive for no reason.

This looks totally forgettable.

TWO BAD DECISIONS!

I thought I was gonna get something like that one episode of Community where Abed helps deliver a baby in the background.

Tourists going on Helicopter tours.

It’s sort of incredible how we STILL don’t have the option to organize comments by newest. Since the beginning, this has been my chief annoyance. You wouldn’t think this little request would be so difficult.

Paul?

So artists are supposed to make movies about what people are interested in watching now?

I’ll never understand why people care so much about what a movie is about. I don’t care what a movie is about, I just care that it’s good.
