i worked as a bouncer in bars and as security at concerts and battle of the bands, etc. In 99% of the cases treating someone with respect and talking is enough.

it is so much deeper than that. Cops get paid very little and rely on overtime and in some jurisdictions side work at sporting events and concerts.

they should just have black officers in black neighborhoods. would cut down on a lot of this.

having worked in bars in my much younger days. there use dot be a stigma with having the police come to the bar in such a situation. bars seem ok with the reputation that people get really drunk there but not the fact someone got drugged there.
