shit happens. the prestigious institution known as Georgetown Univesity admitted a less than mediocre student in Patrick Ewing. the whole world isn’t based on merit. sometimes there are other factors in play....and they don’t always benefit rich white people

well on the one hand he is a trained fighter with more experience than ahy dude in jail and probably top 2-3 at what he does for a living. on the other hand he was a 2 belt champ at 145 and 155 pounds. i think a 235 lb guy with some training would have a good chance. there are weight classes for a reason.

at our D-1A school had a rule that varsity athletes couldn’t play intramurals in their varsity sport but could in other sports. it was kind of cool to play the football guys in basketball, the baseball guys in flag football, both in slow pitch softball etc.
