I love Kotaku for that very reason. Great gaming news site - and awesome, somewhat random news site. Always entertaining though!

That was actually really sweet... Aww

Oh, yes. Exact same experience for me as well. I usually don't go for the mystical/magic powers in games when they also provide guns etc.. just because I can't ever seem to keep track of what the power does and it's limits/weaknesses - and how different ones drain energy faster. The developers did such a great job of

I've never been a fan of stealth games, but Dishonored is one of the best games I've played in years. You really can do whatever you want when it comes to strategic approach. Dishonored is the first game that I actually enjoyed sneaking around more than going in guns (or crossbow) blazing. It's really rewarding. And

First sentence, I agree with, although I wouldn't call them "recent" - at least not TF2, but I can see your point. But come on now... "Half-Life 3 won't come out until Valve finds a way to add hats or other cosmetic purchases to it." Are you being sarcastic, bitter, or just silly? I hope silly or sarcastic because we

This man is EPIC.

I just REALLY WANT another Battlefield Bad Company (2)... I still play through the single-player campaign about once a year. The dialogue between all the characters, them graphics... it was and still is pretty awesome.

I know right. It's like the woman actually genuinely loves the game! Also, as they said in the video, she's the voice for Lana in the animated series "Archer"... which is one of the very best animated series on TV right now and has been since it was first broadcast. Anyways, I'm just stoked for this game and the fact

VERY impressive O-face @2:28 ... I think he knew what he's doing. ;) This is pretty damn remarkable.

I think I maaaay have"finished" the game. It took awhile of running the maze but eventually I found a white square on the floor and clicking on it made the screen go black with the words "Time To Wake Up". Then it restarted lol

450w... that's pretty low if you are marketing your product with the ability to upgrade easily. I'm pretty sure that's their intent seeing as there's no other foreseeable reason why they'd waste production costs. And really, 450w is pretty low these days unless your build is meant to be permanent... which, of course

Exactly!

Psst... are you trolling? Come on, you can tell me.

First off, I'm loving this new Kotaku social-media/blog integration. Notifications when someone recommends your comment...? I love it! Thanks PookandPie.

I forgot to mention something in my previous post. This is an obvious one, but neglected (many times, by me actually). Set your budget from the start. It will help

Newegg.com and Pricewatch.com .. that'll get you through the rough bits. And expect to read a mind-boggling amount of forums... most won't have anything to do with your situation. But they will come in handy when you get stuck.

I would definitely recommend playing the Black Mesa mod (Source engine remake of the original HL) It's only missing the ending, but honestly I always felt HL's ending was kinda weak compared to the rest of the games levels. Also, this is assuming you prefer good graphics over the original (intended) gameplay, as there

With regards to this article and the response from you to the comment - well said, sir.

Dude, what specific thing did Valve do to piss you off this much? I'm actually curious now (assuming you weren't actually trolling and were sincere). Wait...

This could turn into a full-fledged fan club for weapons from Borderlands 2. That's pretty impressive. Gotta hand it to Gearbox on this one. Definitely improved their catalog. Now let's forget about that DNF scar... if we can.

Thank you. I use VLC for all my media. And I just realized, I do this for the same reason I end up quitting other players. It's the unnecessary features I never use that bloats up the other players and makes them slower (to run). I'm assuming VLC wasn't on the list due to it being mainly, a video player. But I love it
