That is how I felt when I read the price. The title made me think the Porsche was sub $5,000. $9,500 seems expensive for an undesirable car.

It’s amazing how $9500 for a 17-year old 996 with 243,000 miles is considered a steal. Just goes to show just how inflated the whole used Porsche market is, even for the “undesirable” Porsches. Maybe I’m just bitter because I can’t buy a 911 for the price of a salvage-titled 944...
Lol. “Pistons” he says. “No argument”, he says.
Neat car, too expensive. CP
That’s insane for $17k...
Crack pipe. I’m still an owner of a 07 Spec B (had it since new in August ‘06). It’s got 130k on the clock with a 2 yr old engine and anything that broke I replaced it with an upgraded part. Even with all that, there’s no way the car should be worth that much. I’d give it $12k at most if the paint job was in impecable…
I absolutely agree but not for a million bucks.

$500 for paint? What’s the nap on the roller you’ll be using?
some sort of fixed gear where the RPMs jump up to 10k and then just stay there as the car accelerates from 0 to 60 and then the RPMs just kind of hang steady?
They already did well enough. Almost everyone has jumped in the EV (almost EV) bandwagon now. Without Tesla showing everyone an electric car can work and be desirable, you wouldn’t see all that push toward electrification.
No one here would want it since it’s an automatic.
Also missing the RedVines dispenser in the roof
A: None of them, a sub-10k used car that you think makes you look rich really makes you look like a poor trying to look rich.
The old “worth more in parts” fallacy. Sure, if you neglect the work and storage space to disassemble the car, then test, catalog, store, sell, and ship the parts.
I find myself liking that Porsche’s green on white color scheme, a lot.
I honestly thought Miata would have been one of the picks on the list.
Miata is always the answer. Well, not really, but it sounds like it could be a pretty good answer to this question. A nice NC could come in well under budget, or splurge a bit and get a base ND.
Why is a website dedicated to automobiles discussing politics to begin with?
I can understand a generic statement on how a major industry player (Ford) is being criticized by an individual running for President (Trump). But why is it necessary to write, quote: “What Trump’s bellicose bloviating”. How is that relevant…
