Why are they still so afraid to just keep the double decker taco? But there actually are quite a few items that I’m looking forward to trying.

It sure looked like Doom but when I (finally) stopped it clearly enough it looks like it’s a squint and see it reference:
I work in digital advertising and yes, obviously this is a myth (or I’d be using it). It happens to me now and again as well - it’s just a coincidence. Sometimes it’s because whoever you were with has used your wifi to do a search or whatever.
Geodata can do that. My friend was pregnant last year, and for a few days after every time she came over we’d get ads about baby stuff. If you’re in proximity to someone for a period of time, your ad preferences will “bleed” over to other people based on the (often correct assumption) that you’ll be discussing…
Set in Alaska filmed in Iceland. With each episode our interest wanes.
Not anymore- I started using prime for two day shipping, but since the pandemic I’ve found myself more and more making a point to frequent local businesses wherever possible, so my focus on prime shifted to prime video to supplement the other streamer I keep in rotation... But when all this came down, I cancelled…
“He probably doesn’t have that much pain right now, but I think tomorrow he’s really gonna feel that.”
I’ve been working without an office for about 7 1/2 years now. I have considered changing jobs (not seriously, but you always have to keep your eyes open) and I think at this point it would drive me mad to go in to an office every day.
RTO is about real estate. If people work from home, then there’s no justification for massive office rental payments in the centre of big cities.
If there’s anything I’ve learned from movies, it’s that primordial kaiju inhabit those distant waters. I’m sure it was Gojira that took down the plane...
I’ve tried to watch it a few times and just couldn’t. I know part of it is a ‘me’ problem, but I couldn’t make out a fucking thing audibly. Just mush to my ears.
Inception maybe, but not Interstellar. Interstellar was SUCH a lost opportunity, you can almost read the studio notes between the frames. I’m surprised Kip Thorne, even at his advancing age, didn’t go to England, find Chris Nolan and punch him in the nose.
If they wanted to build hype with one of his movies, then use Inception or Interstellar. Give people the chance to see those on the big screen (again).
I’ve been allowed to grow my own weed for years.
Came here to say this. I live in Maryland and my county has had a bag tax for over a decade, and I cannot remember the last time I saw a plastic bag dangling from a tree branch. Thanks to this article, now i know there’s at least 18 states I can visit if I really want to see that sight again.
Hey, man, this is all some of us have going for us...
I just got done with the first episode myself, and the pacing and action all felt very much like the Netflix Marvel shows. Now, NetflixMarvel only had about a 50% success rate... so that’s not necessarily bad or great for the rest of the season. But it felt familiar at least!
I’ve made the pilgrimage to Franklin, and it was worth every minute of waiting. It made me want to throw my smokers away.
Fun fact. Franklin BBQ fabricates their own smokers from old propane tanks.
No, no, no. You don’t get it.
Kuberick was asked to fake the moon landing, and he accepted. However he was such a perfectionist that he required the film to be shot on location.
