Wow. Just listened to that. Nice. 10/4 and 10/19 from that year have some very good versions. 8/8/82 is another stellar one.

Those early Brent years with the plinky keyboard were pretty experimental. The Scarlet>Fire I mentioned is a highlight for me EDIT (meant to add) as is the PITB from 12/28/79.

I've been wanting to check it out. I love the Silver Age Showcase collections. Does Deadman ever show up in the new book?

I took it as saying it was his favorite version. We Heads all have our go to version that trumps all others. Whether it's Eyes>Morning Dew from 8/01/73, the Scarlet>Fire from 11/01/79, or Shakedown from 6/30/85. It's an "Others exist but this is the only version that matters, man" type of thing.

That's a sexual maneuver. You might want to look it up before flippantly calling yourself that.
