To clarify, talk boxes take tone from an input source (in this case a piano), which is played through the tube into the mouth, turning it into a resonance chamber. A normal microphone is then used to pick up the new sound coming out of the mouth.

When the actual race is going on, they already show both screens as best as can be. They are both 16x9, and span the full width of the stream, with no pixels wasted.
