GiantBoyDetective — for the money.
and -that's- how you do PR :)
"Frothing Accountant" just doesn't have the same ring to it.
Thank you. It's as terrifying as a soldering iron, or any other fabrication method.
After growing up in Germany before moving to the states, the concept of having to warm your butter is really bizarre to me. To me butter tastes best when you shave off thin pieces and apply it to bread directly, not soaked into the bread. This is generally easier with most german bread or buns since they don't…
"You go right back to your room mister, you're grounded!"
With that kind of budget they surely would have gone with PS CC by now.
Hmm, interesting. I'll give it to you that it may not take as long for it to be viable then, but at least judging from that video you linked this is still at least a few years away from being practical to use in an actual game release.
Honestly my point wasn't to make an ass of anyone, just to inform. I looked it up for my own curiosity, and thought others might be curious as well :) Not everyone online is trying to prove someone right or wrong. Heck, I was really wanted this could be the next engine for ETS2 as well.
Looking at the original source for that video, it looks like we won't be seeing this in games anytime soon. At 720p it took 4 titans 4-5 minutes per single frame to render: http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopi…
You're in luck: their first expansion 'Curse of Naxxramas' is a predominately single player experience, similar in style to the initial tutorial.
Depends on how they chose to implement the 'first person' aspect: http://firstpersontetris.com/
It's a harsh world, and he's one of the only friends you get... And he's a dog.
This. And it sounded like they might be working on it http://www.technobuffalo.com/2014/03/03/met… but it's not been officially confirmed yet.
Serious question: Since there is a good bit of 'cross-polination' on gawker - for example Kotaku and Gizmodo showing articles from Sploid, io9, Screenburn, etc. - is there actually a way to filter or set which articles from which gawker site you see, when you're browsing a given site?
In my original comment I didn't say "don't do it". I said "don't do it without informing yourself", and provided a starting point.
