@Eric Limer: This might be relevant to add to the article: http://filippo.io/Heartbleed/ allows you to test any site; Useful if you're a sysadmin and want to do a quick check, before having to dive into anything more invasive.

In my original comment I didn't say "don't do it". I said "don't do it without informing yourself", and provided a starting point.

Nope, I've never purchased a sound-card in my life :)

Since it's the first thing listed, before buying an expensive 'Gaming Sound Card' Please inform yourself on when they actually help, and when they don't:

now -that- would be somewhat ironic :D

Hmm, no I really wouldn't go jumping to such a conclusion without knowing what's actually going on. It worked on dirty jobs but if I recall that wasn't as specific as malaria testing, but rather research for controlling their populations in general.

Hmm, I may not have read it correctly, but if she's using a bag with malaria infected blood to feed them later during their life cycle, why does she still have to feed them with her own arm before that point? Couldn't you just put non-infected blood into a similar bag?

Probably my favorite 'Modern' Minecraft builds is still 'Lumina Nocturnale' by TrynePlague:

Having myself been a part of some fantastic game jams, I'm positive that this would have been hugely toxic and misrepresenting of what these kinds of events, and just game development in general are about.

That must be a pretty serious condition, that causes you to fall over completely limp when you lightly bump into a stationary object with your knees.

Well, the article says "this is how advertising agency TWBA sold the PlayStation 2 in Franchise." - I'm guessing he meant to write 'France', not 'Franchise', since further down he beings by saying "Some of our non-French readers..."

So, we've all played with silly putty, playdo, soft erasers, or some other kneadable equivalent, right? What do they all have in common? They're fun to use, until you get some dirt or dust on them.

    ... goddammit

That would indeed be neat, preferably also not costing "just north of 600$"

Think getting stuck inside an elevator for a few hours is fun? Try this giant glass tube, now extra airtight.

reminds me a bit of this

I have to say that the German voice acting there was very good. All too many English-speaking games and movies have really bad accents, especially to emphasize that they are 'Evil Nazis'.
