Probably 20 years ago I read a Star Wars book and in it they built/grew half-organic ships customized to the pilot. Any idea what that book was called?

I actually think the lightsaber fights in this show are really well done. And the whole show just looks so good (that shot of the ring coming out of the clouds!). What gets me are the logical inconsistencies like how the bad guys know where Ahsoka’s ship landed in the forest but instead of just bombing it, they send

This was a seriously messed up thing to do. That being said, maybe it will be nice for him to read all the kind things people said about him after he “died.”

Agreed. The first two episodes deserve better than a C+ for the production value alone. Ashoka still appears to be a step below Andor but is way above something like Obi-Wan in that regard.

It’s just the seat post that was recalled. Peloton sent out an email in May regarding ordering a replacement. Ours arrived a few weeks ago and it pretty much looks the same as the original, so there must just be some improvement to the welds or something.

Do yourself a favor and never buy anything from NordicTrack (or it’s parent company). “Commercial grade” doesn’t actually mean anything.

A normal road bike seat post is also held in place using pressure only, that part really isn’t a big deal. I suspect Peloton does it this way because a pin clipped seatpost can’t make as granular of adjustments.

I kind of get her point though especially the “but could we have an ad during the baseball playoffs?” question. Maybe men didn’t/don’t go see women in action movies because they’re not advertised as being “for men”, whatever that means.

I hadn’t even realized that. So her plan was just to trick the audience then?

Give me a 3 minute compilation of all of Olivia Coleman’s lines and I’ll happily forget I ever watched the rest of this snooze-fest.

It can’t really be much worse

I think you could say the same about The Prestige and Memento as well. I love how The Prestige tells you twist right away but you never even notice until you watch again. The glaring weak spot in Tenet is the finale with everyone just running and shooting at basically no one. That part just gets more noticeable on

I think it looks very much like Rogue One aesthetically, which makes sense. I’m very excited for this one, hopefully it doesn’t disappoint.

That makes sense, thanks!

I also came down here to complain about the glaring omission that is Jamie Lee Curtis’ guest spot in The Bear. I thought, “she’s going to win an award for this” while watching the Seven Fishes episode and am stunned to see that she’s not even nominated.

0% chance she’s actually dead

Has there ever been a finale more spectacular than in Endgame? It definitely doesn’t deserve to be in the “movies that did it wrong” list (no, really).

The end credits of the episode had Smulders listed as “special guest star.” Could be a misdirect, but my bet is that she’s dead.
