Pedro Pascal is a national treasure. May he live forever.

I’m glad it ended where it did. I think the finale was pretty much perfect. That said, there were still a number of story items left open (the Pierce deal, Mattson’s comms director, Gerri’s payout, etc) that they could run out into a fifth season.

My vague recollection of the first Transformers movie is that the transformers took the alternate forms of Earth vehicles in order to blend in/hide. What’s the purpose of transforming into a giant robotic cheetah?

Van Damme/Zorreaux: ‘I would now like to be referred to as “Ted Lasso”’.

My money is on getting a female team spinoff with the existing Richmond ownership and Keeley, but I have no idea what it would be about now that the ‘fish out of water’ angle with Ted is done with. In any case, it should just be the end.

I was similarly whelmed (not over, not under) by the finale. On it’s own it was an enjoyable and fitting ending to the show. I think it will be judged unfairly though because it wasn’t able to somehow correct the weaknesses of this season as a whole. In my opinion, the biggest failure of this season was Nate’s arc. We

The first time I saw an ad for ‘Air’ I thought it was a joke

I sort of feel the same way about Euphoria, narratively it’s all over the place, but the show is so well put together. The soundtrack, the lighting, the staging, the unique shots and transitions are all top notch, not to mention the acting. The story is very much “not for me” but it’s one of the more beautiful shows

I thought the trailer was a lot like the trailer for Part 1 in that it doesn’t tell anyone what the movie is actually about. Granted, if you’ve already seen Part 1 you probably have some idea, but I think the trailer for Part 2 will fail to bring in many people who aren’t already familiar with Dune and haven’t

Glad it’s not just me with the new Taboola thing, I guess. It’s so trashy.

Agreed on all counts. But it was still a fun experience at the theater before you had time to think about it too closely.

I kind of wish they would stop making more sequels and spinoffs. I liked the original the first time I saw it at the theater, but repeat viewings and the second movie really seem to expose the inconsistencies regarding how easy it is to hide from or escape from the monsters.

I started Fallen Order a few weeks ago and these critiques of Survivor are exactly my critiques of FO. There’s no reason to bother exploring everywhere when all you earn is a new lightsaber part that doesn’t change any of the mechanics and you can’t see it anyway. The combat is fun so I like the game, but at this

Worst trailers: Any one where someone gets hit in the crotch or face

Once the MCU has its claws in, it’s definitely reluctant to let go.”

With a goatee that terrible it’s no wonder he’s the bad guy.

I tried to watch Rebels a few years ago but couldn’t get into it and only made it through maybe 10 episodes, which jives with what you said about season 1. At least I’ll have a passing knowledge of who the characters are already and won’t be completely lost for Ashoka.

I didn’t watch Rebels, but the Ashoka trailer sure looked good.
