I started Fallen Order a few weeks ago and these critiques of Survivor are exactly my critiques of FO. There’s no reason to bother exploring everywhere when all you earn is a new lightsaber part that doesn’t change any of the mechanics and you can’t see it anyway. The combat is fun so I like the game, but at this

Best trailers: Godzilla (2014), Mission Impossible: Fallout, The Force Awakens
Worst trailers: Any one where someone gets hit in the crotch or face

Once the MCU has its claws in, it’s definitely reluctant to let go.”

With a goatee that terrible it’s no wonder he’s the bad guy.

Just once I wish someone would try to buy me with a nice vacation home...

I tried to watch Rebels a few years ago but couldn’t get into it and only made it through maybe 10 episodes, which jives with what you said about season 1. At least I’ll have a passing knowledge of who the characters are already and won’t be completely lost for Ashoka.

The thing about IG-11 that I found strange was that Mando apparently went back into the now blown up base on Mandalore to retrieve Grogu’s destroyed IG-11 mech, presumably before he even saw the replacement head at the bar.

I didn’t watch Rebels, but the Ashoka trailer sure looked good.

#1-3, sure, maybe.
#4. The cave Mandalorians didn’t follow that pterodactyl very far, and certainly not anywhere near 60 miles. But you’d actually be able to fly further horizontally than vertically anyway. Yes, air resistance decreases as you gain altitude but gravity doesn’t decrease that quickly and you’re fighting

I’ve seen him get blown up twice now, he’s not so scary anymore!

Gotta leave room for a ‘Book of Kelleran’ spinoff...

Agreed. The “happily ever after” portion of the headline is completely unnecessary. I doubt anything the writer includes in the headline is driving increased readership, so it’s really just there to potentially spoil something for someone who hasn’t watched yet.

Easily the best episode in an overall not very good season. I’d be fine if this was the end of the show, but they made it abundantly clear they will go back to the adventure-of-the-week storytelling next season which will probably please most people. I wish someone would have died in the finale though because without

I’m not usually pro-spinoff, but I’d watch a spinoff series of Cristobal and Hank doing crime.

Agreed. It’s worth noting that in addition to writing the script, Lindelof was executive producer on Watchmen and The Leftovers but also on two turds, Star Trek Into Darkness and Prometheus. To me, the story was definitely the weak point in both Star Trek and Prometheus, but it’s hard to say how much of the story was

Lindelof has definitely written both hits and misses, but he’s certainly capable and I think overall his hits far outweigh his misses. I’ll check this one out, hoping it’s more like ‘Watchmen’ or ‘The Leftovers’ than ‘Cowboys & Aliens’.

Yea, holy cow, thought that was pretty obvious.

I’ve watched most of season 1 and while the show looks great, it’s missing the magic of ‘Planet Earth’, ‘Blue Planet’, etc. There’s just something less interesting about watching dinosaurs ‘filmed’ how humans think they acted and behaved compared to watching actual animal behavior filmed in the wild.

I’ll give you that one

Is it a hot take to say that NO car looks better in it’s convertible version?
