So... same as seasons 2-4?

11) Why does Hale shoot William and then just run away while he’s on the ground. She clearly had more bullets. Was it really just so that Bernard’s message would “predict the future”?

Thanks for providing great review instead of just the AV Club’s episode play-by-play.

I feel the same way. Dominion is just a generic “evil corporation is up to no good so some regular people have to break in and stop them” story and the dinosaurs somehow added nothing. To add to that, the CGI dinosaurs looked pretty bad at times and as nice as it was to see the original case together again, the Dr.

Early in the movie Midthunder’s character commented on how smart the dog was. I figured that was our clue that the dog wouldn’t die.

Hey, I’m over 5! Where do I sign?

Sadly, I think you’re right. I was riveted by all the mysteries in Season 1 and now I can’t find a single storyline I care about. I’m going to finish the season, but won’t bother tuning in for a Season 5 if there is one.

To be fair, 90% of Americans have never even heard of Burma and therefore wouldn’t associate the snake and the (former) country.

Exactly. The presence of a villain on this show makes the whole thing so much less realistic than it was in Seasons 1 and 2.

But but but but but... gas prices!

I saw the picture and before I even read the headline thought, “that looks like Gus Fring’s car.”

The Twitter lawyer’s “buyer’s remorse” comment definitely comes across like something someone who was happy to offload a piece of junk would say.

I’m just here for all the Tolkien nerds arguing with one another using quotes from the books.

I always enjoy a good Christopher Nolan/Michael Caine pairing.

So basically it’s World War Z (the book version)?

Needs more Frodo.

I had the same reaction initially. But now I’m ok with the choice. We already knew that Gus wasn’t going to die and we knew that Gus hid a gun in the lab and presumed he would use it to kill Lalo. So killing off Lalo with a bunch of episodes remaining removed the predictable storyline. Now all that’s left will be the
