The “we had a horrible plague, followed by two years of COVID” line was pretty good!

I’ll bet those McDonald’s managers are really excited to be able to harass those robot employees as they please, finally without any repercussions!

Our 2-year-old never stopped licking everything and isn’t planning to stop anytime soon. Wish he could get vaxxed though before everyone else starts licking everything too.

Seriously. First it was “anything that doesn’t fit our agenda is fake news” and now it’s “people have decided to stop purchasing my product solely because of cancel culture!”

Not really. The cost for one burger flipping robot is likely a few year’s worth of salary at minimum wage, not to mention the cost of maintenance and any reprogramming. Where the robot improves upon the human is in efficiency and consistency. It also, presumably, won’t leave any hair in your food.

I’d agree, but Cassidy has, on multiple occasions, told Kevin that they are not each other’s person. From her point of view, they are just there as friends.

Nicky is quickly veering towards a “Danny Devito as Frank in ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” level of weird.

Cassidy was there as Kevin’s plus one.

There was too much emphasis on Mike promising Manuel’s safety for the Salamancas not to go after Manuel at some point in the story.

The trial isn’t even the final say. After the trial the decision is left up to the Republican Secretary of State in GA. We will get some shockingly (is it even shocking anymore?) dumb soundbites out of her and then she will still get to take part in the election.

The show really is fantastic. Waititi can seemingly do no wrong (ok except for whatever he was doing as the bad guy in Free Guy).

They’ll never get refunds because they still made it to their destination. But you’re absolutely right, we have a 20-month-old and if we had finally felt safe enough take a chance flying with him and then mid-flight they announced everyone can take off their masks I would have been livid. There’s no reason that

Bigger = room for more battery right?

Minivans are the cool alternative (at least I think so)! But this isn’t a minivan, it’s an extra long four-seater with suicide doors. Can’t someone just come out with a traditional sliding door minivan with 400 miles of electric range already? I don’t even care if they want to let the grille wrap all the way around to

All valid takeaways. The bulletproof suit issue is ALWAYS an issue in movies, but at least he was knocked down by the shotgun to the stomach when the plot required it.

I watched yesterday as well and liked it more than I had expected to. It was long but didn’t feel like a three hour movie to me. If I had one major

I think that ‘The Lost World’ and ‘Jurassic Park 3' actually mostly succeeded at building the franchise. They’re certainly not great movies (though I rather like TLW) but at least the dinosaurs still behaved like animals and they were creating new stories even if the stories were still something along the lines of

Weird, I saw the header image and came down here to say that I hadn’t realized just how much alike those two look. In that pic they have the exact same nose, the same squinty eyes, and similar chins. I do remember them not looking especially similar in ‘Looper’ though.

The Warner Bros execs shouldn’t bother getting too nervous. Miller isn’t a big star and I doubt many people would actually care if they recast the role. ‘The Flash’ will come out in June, it will make $120M opening weekend no matter what, then everyone will forget about the film a few weeks later and Warner Bros can

While it was the most tense, it was also probably the funniest episode as well. “Do you thing Miguel looks at it (the doll) when she’s not around to help grease the wheels a bit?”
