Last movie I saw in a theater was also RoS. Talk about going out on a low note...

But I’m excited for the day when I can go back to the theater again, whenever that may be.

I’ll preface this by saying that I haven’t seen the film in 14 years (and was only 18 at the time) so I’m just going off memory here.

I thought the sense of dread of the unknown was really well established and, again, really thought the ending was a home run. The CGI was not great if I’m remembering correctly. I think

I watched “The Mist” in the theater and honestly thought it was pretty mediocre until that ending. All I remember of it now is the ending and the sub-par CGI creatures, but somehow the ending alone elevates the entire movie in my memory. Any movie that you can’t stop thinking about for a few days afterward must have

I always thought it was funny how Brie Larson’s character carries around her camera throughout the movie like it’s some kind of weapon. But yea, the characters were terrible.

Jessie Plemons looks like a version of Matt Damon who got hit in the face with a shovel. (He’s also a terrific actor.)

I hated every time there was another Zoom call in this movie. Man this movie was a slog through the mud.

I haven’t left a movie so feeling so distressed since I watched “The Mist.” This movie really sticks with you long after it’s over and Mulligan’s performance is a big reason for that.

Maybe give it another shot. It’s a top-5 all-time romantic comedy (that I can think of right now) for me.

The theory is that they intended to hold the press conference at the Four Seasons hotel, but someone called and booked the wrong Four Seasons. The really inexplicable part is that they still held the even even after realizing that it was not the intended hotel. Whoever answered the phone at the landscaping business

I literally smile every time I’m reminded of the Four Seasons Total Landscaping debacle. Thank you for bringing it up again. Long live Four Seasons.

Woww

I notice stuff like this a lot in the show (leaning on things, characters dropping their arms to their sides, etc.) but it’s probably incredibly difficult for a show with the Expanse’s budget to portray a zero gravity environment at all times (and to make sure that the actors remember they are pretending to be in zero

The Old Guard really wasn’t that bad. It had a weird soundtrack and they clearly blew a lot of the budget casting Theron, but otherwise it was nice concept that was decently executed. Couldn’t agree with you more on Extraction though.

Oh wait a minute

Hey at least they’re not all sequels.

Ok but when does he offer Neo the red or blue pill?

On a school night!?!

And yet there’s Amos leaning on the counter...

I had a moped in college and would ride it all year round (Madison, WI) as long as the streets had been plowed. The trick was to just keep both feet on the ground like skis as you rode in case the tires slipped out.

I have this vac, doesn’t work well at all for pet hair in the car. Just fyi if you have pets.
