This seems to half 1/8th the functionality of the Tricorder app. Not only is it trekky, it actually works.
That was so lame it made me fart. Maybe if the guy wasn't so overly excited and unrealistically geeky and fake it wouldn't suck as much.
@MagicTrackpad: Is there something wrong with being a GayBook?

Looks like the work of Gabriel Shear.
If one makes a donation using an AMEX card or some sort of rewards card, does it make it a less significant gesture because one got rewards points as well as a tax write off?
One of the elite consultants in our firm has a new Mac Book Pro with the 2.66 i7, 8GB of ram and *wait for it* the 512GB SSD drive. She constantly runs three or 4 VMs simultaneously on that thing, none of which are on vacation. I have never heard a MacBook fan so much in my life. The amount of power some folks…

@anotherdude: I don't know about Office support. Most smartphones today support office docs. I can see Sharepoint support as a definite value add though (if your firm is heavy into Sharepoint of course). The question is, would these features bee enough to give Microsoft the healthy market share it once had?
@AlexMcDavid: If you want to get a laugh, there is an episode of Sex & The City in which Zip Drives are featured.
@Kaiser-Machead v.2.1.2: I think that devices such as Netbooks and Ultra-lights (Mac Air) might be the ones most affected by tablets. The Mac Air still has the advantage of being a powerful computer, something that Netbooks don't have, but if the user was looking for portability, function and simplicity at a…
This plan doesn't seem to jive with market realities.
Windows Phone 7, dead on arrival?
@DfizzleShizzle: My money is that there will be extended and in-depth reporting of the French Quarter.
