Definitely not, there's at least also me.

Zing!
Yeah, I'm 23, and most people I know around my age DO sign with at least some cursive mixed in with messy print, if not entirely in cursive. Guess it varies!
Was the closet the chokey?
At 23, the largest beds I've had were the extra-long twins in college, which are extra-LONG, not extra-wide. My bed at home (where I'm living now because...yeah...) is still the twin mattress I got when we moved in 7th grade.
So far we have:
Your explanation undermines your point: none of the negative things about any of those examples renders them meaningless. They could be arbitrary or unfair or made-up, but the way that they operate makes them significant. Whether they're legitimate or not is beside the point.
Still doesn't matter. Saying that it's a social construct doesn't make it meaningless (you may have noticed that humans are very, uh, social creatures, on the whole), and in fact only emphasizes that it's a malleable thing that people can play with/decide for themselves how they feel about.
Maybe you should brush up on the difference between sex and gender before trying to make a point about trans* experience.
YES. I should have read through before making my post about just this point, but what is up with this policy? What's at issue is that the gender assigned at birth is not the person's gender, not what body parts they have (although in the case of a trans* person who is interested in surgery, that should be addressed…
"In order for Wong to be considered female in Connecticut, however, she'd have to undergo sexual confirmation surgery..."
YES. The no-nonsense, fierce advocacy that they seem to be enacting is freaking wonderful.
Nope, because it's my birthday. :)
Brilliantly put.
Fair enough, no worries!
Uh, yeah...that was my point...???
Do all Catholics have access to enfranchisement? Or are only men able to join the clergy that could potentially become part of the voting process?
Oh, man, people's logical extensions of this guy's awful posts are making my night. Bravo. :)
But...what if we're talking about two women? Or two men? Or any variously gendered couples who are not a man and a woman? WHAT THEN??????????????????????????
