That's GM's biggest problem, they're reactive. They almost never offer up anything new, they always wait to see what the competition is up to then copy it.

I'd remake Mercury. Do a couple of things with it. First I'd return it to it's hot rodding days, maybe to do what GM did with Pontiac and import some Ford Aussie Muscle cars and just relabel them under classic Mercury names, like turning the Falcon into the Cougar for the US market.

As much as I like the Fiesta, I gotta say this is more attractive on the outside.
